Overview of Redesigned Quiz + Sales Page

For the Quiz

Problems I noticed after doing an audit:

  • inconsistencies with text formatting
  • readability
  • distracting elements (background and blue title header)

 

Solutions:

  • separate Quiz landing page from Quiz itself. Copy for landing page is based off of the home page copy, with some additions
  • added “Introducing Superior Singing Method” phrase to add an extra layer of authority to the brand
  • added extra CTA text to pull the reader into wanting to take the quiz

 

Design stuff:

  • added slight border radius to Man/Woman images
  • added a slightly higher quality version of SSM logo for Quiz
  • dark footer (copyright text). Less distracting, easier on the eyes, and doesn’t take focus away from main content
  • fixed copyright text grammar

For the Sales Page

Problems I noticed after doing an audit:

  • not much, mostly design-related stuff
  • copywriting could use an improvement
  • readability & flow

 

Solutions:

  • see images and the Design Stuff section below

 

Design stuff:

  • added cart icon to ADD TO CART button + other design tweaks
  • added slight border shadow effect to FB testimonial screenshots to further emphasize that they’re images, not FB embeds. Some people might feel that they’re being “tricked” if it’s not clear we’re using images
  • modified Testimonials title
  • flipped the blue and black headline/subheadline colors for better readability
  • added “badges” to Modules section for better readability
  • modified Module titles to give them better “pull” factor (benefits vs. features concept)
  • added emphasis to “$$ value” phrases in “What You Get” section
